Presentation:

A type of martial art from Central America that appeared between the 16th and 17th centuries, its anti-authority roots drawing on warfare techniques and the tribal dances of African peoples during the times of slavery in Brazil, Capoeira was for a long time forbidden and belonged exclusively to black slaves who practised it openly in the "Quilombos" (places in the forest where access was difficult, refuges for escaped slaves). A dance, a fight and a game all at the same time, capoeira has, with the passing of time, become the main affirmation of Brazilian cultural identity after the Samba.
Now reproduced on stage to the percussive rhythm of the pandeiro and orchestrated by two talented capoerists, these simulations of ancestral combat will provide your event (wedding, anniversary, family get together, dance or gala evening, party, banquet, new year celebration, reception, show, promotional evening, product launch, etc.) with some memorable moments. Based on roda tunes, this original show adapted to the geography of your room and recreating the gripping atmosphere of the carnival would make a perfect introduction to a company dinner, a presentation during a professional show or the ending of a team-building exercise.
Between choreographed ballets and demonstrations of perilous acrobatics.
